All of our teachers are DBS checked and certified and bring professional musical expertise alongside experience teaching students of different ages, backgrounds and abilities.

We believe great teaching starts with creating a safe, welcoming and supportive environment where every student feels comfortable to learn, explore their creativity and develop their confidence.

Frances P.Lenihan

Founder, Vocal Coach, Singer & Songwriter

Frances is the founder of Coachly Studio, a vocal coach, singer, songwriter and musician with over 25 years of experience in the music industry. Since beginning her teaching career in 2006, she has guided over 300 students on their vocal journeys, helping singers of all ages develop their voices, confidence and musical expression.

Holding a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Music, Frances has worked with students in primary and secondary schools, music schools and record labels across London and Cambridge. She has helped students prepare for competitions, television appearances, including The X Factor, live performances and studio recordings.

With a holistic approach to vocal coaching, Frances combines strong technical foundations with vocal health, musical expression and confidence-building. Her background in speech, language and voice therapy further strengthens her ability to support students in developing healthy and sustainable vocal techniques.

Frances believes that learning music should be an enjoyable and encouraging experience. Her aim is to create a supportive environment where every student feels comfortable being themselves, expresses their creativity and discovers the joy of making music.

Suzanne Toal

Singing & Piano teacher

Suzanne is a talented Singing and Piano Teacher, singer and musical director who brings energy, creativity and a genuine love of music to every lesson.

Currently beginning her MA in Music Therapy at Anglia Ruskin University, she has a particular interest in how music can help people grow in confidence, express themselves and discover their own voice.

With experience working with children, young people and adults, she creates lessons that are encouraging, engaging and tailored to each student. Whether discovering singing for the first time, learning to play the piano or developing existing musical skills, students are supported to explore, discover and create.

With her professional musical experience and warm, encouraging approach, she makes every lesson an opportunity to discover and create .

Alicia Dean

Singing & Musical Theatre Drama Teacher

Alicia is a passionate Singing, Musical Theatre and Drama teacher with professional training from the London School of Musical Theatre, alongside a Master’s degree in Psychology and professional experience working as business psychologist.

With a genuine love for performance and a strong understanding of the importance of confidence, emotional wellbeing and personal development, Alicia brings a unique approach to her teaching. Her background in psychology allows her to create a nurturing, encouraging and supportive environment where every student feels valued, confident and free to express themselves.

Alicia specialises in singing, musical theatre and drama, helping students discover their voices, build confidence and develop the skills they need to shine on stage. She combines her performance training with her understanding of psychology to support each student’s individual needs, encouraging creativity, self-belief and a love of performing.

Whether they’re dreaming of performing in a musical, singing their favourite songs or simply wanting to feel more confident, Alicia creates a fun, inclusive and inspiring space where young performers can express themselves, grow and explore their creativity.

Alicia will also be leading our exciting Disney Star Recording Experience, giving young performers the chance to step into the world of Disney, develop their performance skills and experience the magic of recording their very own Disney-inspired performance
